Curtis Knight Entertainment is one of the largest Disc Jockey (DJ) / Entertainment companies in the United States. Word of mouth referrals and repeat bookings make up more than 80% of our business. We are located in Billerica, Massachusetts (in the Greater Boston Area), but proudly serve all of New England.

Each year , our total number of band and DJ events executed comes to more than 1500. Our list of accolades includes:

• Sponsored and licensed by Anheuser-Busch, and have emceed their company parties since 1990.
• Provide Disc Jockey (DJ) services for two of the most prestigious cruise lines in Boston, MA: The Odyssey and Rockmore Cruises.
• Provide the exclusive Disc Jockey (DJ) and Karaoke services for many area colleges - including the University of Massachusetts: Lowell, Bridgewater State, Endicott, Salem State, and more.
• Used constantly by numerous state and federal agencies - including Massachusetts’ State Police and Massachusetts’ Sheriff’s Office.

In 1990, Anheuser-Busch selected us as their entertainment company of choice, to represent them at all of their high-profile, media-oriented events, and to promote their products at our many night club DJ and/or Karaoke shows …and we have remained the only entertainment company in Massachusetts sponsored and licensed by “The King of Beers.” We were chosen number one out of more than 400 bands and DJ companies in the state, and we are proud to have been re-evaluated and re-signed every year since.

Also, we are the “Go to Guys” for numerous agencies in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. So, even if you decide to go with another company for your DJ requirements, there is a decent chance that you will wind up using one of our team members - who will perform your event and give out business cards for the company that you hired...a well kept secret in “the Biz”.

Our 42 DJs and 16 State-Of-The-Art DJ Audio Systems have allowed us to please more than 10,000 individual Clients since 1990 (more than 32,000 events ) - many of them over and over, year after year.

OUR EQUIPMENT

Pioneer CD Players, Crown and Yamaha Amps, Shure SM-58 Wireless Mics, Shure SM-58 Hard Wire Mics, AKG E.Q.’S, JBL MR-925 Speakers, 12 - 14 Gauge Wire - all configured, built and maintained by top quality audio engineers. (We are also a sound reinforcement company that provides sound and lights for National Recording Acts.)

OUR SONG SELECTION

More than 100,000 songs in our library. We send you a smaller list with the most frequently requested songs, but you can request songs that you like and we will pull them from our master selection for your event. Our Master Song List is 1250 pages, and has been described as “Overwhelming” by our clients. This is why we send our smaller song list when it is requested.

OUR PRESENTATION

Our DJ’S are trained by existing DJ’S in our company, and then by Curtis Knight - New England’s veteran entertainer and owner of the company. Our Hallmarks are Politeness, Punctuality, Professionalism and a passion to do whatever can be done to make your event the best it can be. We enjoy going the extra mile. Obnoxious and Irritating DJ behavior will not be found at any of our events.

OUR DJS…

are, trained and updated on industry protocol constantly. Because we pay a higher portion of our fees to our DJs than any other company we know of, we attract the highest quality DJs. From that group, we pick the sweetest, nicest, most polite, professional people available...and then treat them as treasured clients. Several have been with us since the beginning.

OUR STABILITY

We are in business for the long haul. We have great depth as a company so that if a problem arises. we can and will do whatever is necessary to resolve it to your complete satisfaction. For example, if the DJ assigned to you gets sick or has an accident on the day of your event and cannot attend, we have meticulous notes on file in our office to give to a replacement DJ - and the quality and presentation of your event is protected.

ALWAYS AVAILABLE

Our office is open 365 days a year (Even Christmas Eve and Christmas Day), and we keep evening and late night hours. You can always reach us.
